Working at Thurlestone
Owned and managed by the Grose family since 1896, Thurlestone hotel has been employing people for more than 120 years and it is the staff that have always ensured our guests have been captivated by the levels of hospitality and first-class service that they receive. Our mission statement is “we strive to exceed our guests’ expectations so they wish to return” and we know that we would not come close to achieving this without the wonderful people that work here.
When someone joins the team at Thurlestone they are joining a family of dedicated professionals who have a friendly approach, a can-do attitude and a passion for excellence. We work primarily in our home departments but seek to expand all of the staffs training to mean that we can support our colleagues in other departments when they need a hand.

Many of the roles that we advertise come with full-time hours however due to the nature of hotel work and its seasonality we welcome applicants who maybe looking for part-time or seasonal roles to fit with any other commitments. We may also able to arrange on site accommodation for staff at a small cost with many of our roles if you were hoping to relocate to the area.
